My Thoughts

The first book in the series Outside with Lil Boo, the author skillfully leads us all on an outdoor adventure through the alphabet. With beautifully illustrated pages to “paint” the pictures that are made with the poems.

The second book in the series, At the Zoo with Lil Boo finds us following that intrepid adventurer to the zoo. As with the first book in the series, the illustrations paint the picture that the author evokes in the poetry. What fun it is to see the zoo with fresh new eyes.

I had a great time with Lil Boo and his adventures. I loved seeing the world through his little eyes. The rhymes make these stories flow, especially when read aloud. I can’t wait to share the adventure with my granddaughter. If you have a little one, I highly recommend these books, they’re great fun and may just open your eyes to the way your child sees the world.
