Like thousands (possibly millions) of people, I set myself a weight loss goal at the turn of the New Year. Actually, I did a 3 day detox/cleanse the last three days of 2012 in order to kick start my weight loss in 2013 (but that’s a story for another post). I plan to do many things over this year, in order to reach my weight loss goal. One of which is to move towards a lifestyle change, one of eating more “clean” nutrient-dense foods, rather than trying to stick to a diet.
I am really ready for this type of change, with the 3 day cleanse I proved to myself that I could live without some of my favorite things, that are less than healthy. Thankfully, I was given the opportunity to try out an appetite suppressant chew called Re-Body Hunger Chews by the makers of SafSlim, late in 2012. These tasty little fruity chews help me with those “snack attacks” I seem to have.
Instead of grabbing something calorie-laden, sweet and unhealthy, I can grab one of these instead. It satisfies my craving for sweet and seems to relieve my hunger pangs, or what my bored, stressed (insert adjective here) brain tells me is hunger. First off, they taste really good, almost like a sweet, tart kind of chewy candy which will remain nameless, and somehow, eating just one of these things, makes my brain think that I am not particularly hungry anymore.
